The series "POOL DIVE" 3-set is just the main part of a 5 cycles project. 
The idea goes back to a movie-shot taken in Ibiza (Spain) in 2004.

"POOL DIVE 5 loop" shows life in 5 sequences.
The film and the digital print are both presented backwards.
Not like in any normal running life, the cycles of each single person's life are determined by various influences and people think they are able to interfere.

"POOL DIVE 5 loop" proves that wrong.
Normally a pool dive starts with a jump into the pool and ends with the dive under the water. Similar to birth and death as the moment of beginning and ending human's life.

By turning these fixed moments around movie-artist Udo Rein want us to think about it and to search for new solutions.

Udo Rein: Is there a final ending or will the jumper jump back from sequence 5 to the beginning at the poolside, just like to the start of something new? A new life? Something else? Nobody knows the answer. The riddle will stay unsolved.

The movie-scene in the background symbolizes various influences during our life.
The hand guides and leads the jump forwards and backwards as a symbol of so many things that accompany us and lead us through life.

Are we moving backwards?
Is the beginning the end of an original beginning? Did this already happen?
I remember this moment exactly? Who tried to tell me that this is all NEW?
